Attend the *NEW* Leave No Trace Virtual Trainer Course March 1-25!
Prepare to meet advancement requirements and reduce impacts on camp-outs or high adventure treks. The new alternative online Trainer Course format developed by the Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics during this time of covid 19, helps you learn tactics and how to teach minimum-impact recreation and travel in a safe manner. This course is for adults and youth at least age 14 by start of course. It meets training needed for the Eagle leadership position of responsibility, Outdoor Ethics Guide and leader specific outdoor training.
Course Information: Learning occurs via 4 zoom discussions, online google classroom and off line homework. Google classroom opens March 1st to complete work due for zoom 1 session.
Zoom sessions will be held Thursdays 7:00-9:00pm central time: March 4, 11, 18, 25.
